Design Process

The name "Integralty" combines integrity and integration, two core values for any cybersecurity firm. My goal was to create a logo that immediately communicated security and trust. I built the design around a hexagon shape because hexagons represent strength and stability. The nested, layered hexagons suggest multiple layers of protection, just like how good cybersecurity works. At the center, I placed a keyhole to symbolize security and access control. It's a simple, recognizable symbol that says "we protect what matters and control who gets in." The overall shape naturally forms a shield, which reinforces the idea of protection without being too literal or predictable.

Color Choice

Blue (Primary) serves as the brand foundation, leveraging color theory's association with trust, security and reliability, critical attributes for a cybersecurity provider. Charcoal (Secondary) provides professional depth and technical authority. This near-black tone grounds the palette reinforcing Integralty's established position while creating strong contrast for optimal readability across applications. Solar Ember (Accent) is a high-energy accent that adds dynamism and immediacy. Baby Powder (Base) offers a warm alternative to stark white, creating approachable yet refined backgrounds that enhance readability.

For the Integralty wordmark, I started with Cal Sans as the base typeface. Its bold, geometric character provided the modern, confident foundation I wanted for the brand. However, to make the wordmark truly distinctive and ownable, I customized several key letters. I modified the "l," "t," and "r" to create a more unique identity. These adjustments gave the wordmark sharper, more technical details that better reflect the precision and expertise of a cybersecurity firm. The customized letterforms maintain Cal Sans's approachable feel while adding distinctive character that makes the brand more memorable and recognizable. The result is a wordmark that feels both contemporary and proprietary, it's grounded in a strong typeface but personalized to reflect Integralty's specific identity. These subtle customizations ensure the brand stands out and can't be easily replicated with standard fonts.
